My inspiration to write Josie Released from Within was the realization that I knew I had an amazing, true story to tell.
To put it into action was what I believed I could do so I did. A legacy for my child also motivated me.
What a thrill to have people read my book!
An inspiring moment was when I was physically holding my old diary in my hand. The idea of writing a book was staring me in the face. After it had sat there in the bottom of my bedside drawer for years I began to relive the memories in my own life through the life I had lived.
My diary was not written or intended at the start to go public as a book. It was never to be seen.
But I had 30 years of diary notes that could transform into a great story. Tucked away in a hideaway place in my bedroom drawer.
Instead, now it can be read. It has a chance to make a great film or something to be used by the medical profession in the aid of understanding bipolar disorder.
I was inspired by all of these thoughts and it changed my mind.
Josie Released from Within is to share, to help and to educate people and bring about more understanding for each other through this story.
For the unknowing to experience what it can be like to have a mental illness is a subject in need for conversation.
Josie tells and offers support in her book with some firsthand insight into how to break through the barriers of life. It’s a hard world out there! I’m inspired at the thought that it may be a powerful message of hope!
The excitement grew as did the anticipation and visualization of how my written material would read and come together. Some of my wisdom through self-belief taught me and gave me inspiration to write. I wanted my story to be honest and to show its true worth.
I also had the belief from those closest to me that I could achieve what I set out to do . To embrace the absolute love for what you are doing is wonderful. To feel the love from what you are doing from others is an awesome feeling. To write something down that will help someone else is a motivational tool in itself.
To succeed in having inspiration, one must have the motivation;
